【基本用法】
表示过去某个时刻或某一阶段正在进行的动作。基本结构为：be(was/were)＋动词?ing。常见的时间状语有：then, at that moment, at this/that time yesterday, at＋某时刻＋last night等。

1. Alice was sitting with her sister by the river. 爱丽丝正和她姐姐坐在河边。
