1.have a maggot in one’s head
从前英国人认为脑袋里有蛆虫(maggot),只会使人产生种种古怪念头。所以,说人家异想天开,他们会说have a maggot in one’s head,例如︰ You must have a maggot in your head if you believe that Mr. Patten genuinely cares about Hong Kong people (假如你以为彭定康先生真的关心香港人,那是异想天开了)。
